She was dawn
Sunrise was
her heart
Her love was
morning
The
beginning
She was noon
Midday was
her radiant face
Her embrace
was the pinnacle of my day
All days
She was dusk
Sunset was
her serenade
Her
bittersweet kiss was twilight
The ending
Now she is
night
Midnight was
her soft goodbye
The pale
moon reaches its zenith
In the
morning of my heart
Review
The poet is illustrating his feelings as his love one has
gone to the world from where no-one returns. Now the poet assumes that she is
with him and he feels her from dawn to dusk. He says that she was morning,
noon, midday, night and everything of this world. And I think he is right as I
believe: “When love comes in someone’s heart everything go out and there is
only love, love and love.”
